COLORS: Since printing is in four colours, Ral and Pantone colours can only be simulated. This means not all Ral and Pantone colours can be reproduced exactly, so it is advisable to send images, logos and graphics with CMYK colours.
IMAGES: Since printing is in four colours, it is advisable to set the images as CMYK.
RGB files are automatically converted into CMYK. The best image format for this type is high-resolution JPG.
RESOLUTIONS: For work less than 50×70 cm: 300 dpi. For work more than 50×70 cm: 150 dpi.
FONTS: lt is advisable, if possible, to convert all text into curves or paths to prevent the fonts chosen for the message tram changing. lf this conversion is not possible, the font (PC platform) should be sent together with the artwork.
Back-lit film made of 250 µ-thick (250 g/m2) polyester, using the direct UV-ink print technology, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, highly resistant to all weather conditions and UV rays. This product is designed specifically for use outdoors as it can withstand prolonged exposure to sunrays. Ask your usual printers to printthe backlitfilm using UV inks. Do not print using water-based inks or aggressive cleaning agents. As an alternative to polyester film, standard printing paper may be used. lt is best to use thin grain-size paper, e.g. 80 g/m2 or, better still, 60 g/m2.
